Unused / unissued material from Pathe Super Gazette titles. 1935. Title reads: "The Royal Wedding" - Wedding of Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. London Crowds look on as bridesmaids and pageboys climb into car. SV of Archbishop of Canterbury leaving Lambeth Palace in car. Crowds outside Buckingham Palace (quick shot of children in prams looking up). Bride, Lady Alice Montagu-Douglas-Scott gets into coach. Nice shot of her through coach window. The coach moves off. Various shots of the crowd lined streets as she makes her way to Buckingham Palace. Crowds move closer as Duke of Gloucester, Prince Henry, and his wife come out on the the balcony. They are joined by other members of the Royal family - including King George V, Queen Mary, Duchess of York and Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret. Royals wait for coach to leave taking the couple off to the station to go on their honeymoon. Confetti and petals are thrown as they set off. Various shots of the couple in the coach as they make their way to St. Pancaras station. The happy couple chat to friends and relatives before setting off on their train. Pathe end titles. N.B.
