In the Math section, focus on topics like Probability and PNC (Permutations and Combinations), Statistics, and Sequence series. The exam primarily tests your knowledge of math concepts used in practical applications, rather than focusing on advanced topics like calculus. Make sure to dedicate sufficient time to understanding and practicing problems related to these topics. The NSET exam lasts for two hours. It's essential to manage your time effectively and get familiar with the online exam format. Practice solving questions within the given time constraints to build speed and accuracy. The exam level is little bit higher than JEE Mains and below JEE advanced. One unique aspect of the SST program is that they teach you a concept and then ask questions related to it in the exam. For example, I learned about the binary algorithm, and during the exam, I was asked questions related to this fundamental math concept. So, pay close attention to the concepts they teach you, understand them thoroughly, and practice applying them to solve related problems. The selection process also includes interview rounds. There are two rounds: one focused on Math and the other on your behavior, dreams, and aspirations. For the Math round, expect questions that assess your understanding of mathematical concepts and your problem-solving abilities. In the Behavioral round, be prepared to discuss your personal traits, aspirations, and why you're passionate about technology. Showcase your confidence and express your enthusiasm for the field. Lastly, the most crucial advice I can give you is to keep practicing. Regular practice is the key to success. Solve practice questions, take mock tests, and continuously work on improving your speed and accuracy. This will help you become comfortable with the exam format and boost your confidence. I hope my insights and experiences help you in your preparation for the SST program. Remember, I started preparing just a month ago, and with consistent effort and dedication, you can achieve great results. WHAT I THINK OF SST I genuinely believe that this program has the potential to disrupt the conventional B.Tech programs in India. The curriculum and structure designed by Scaler are so innovative that I can envision top engineering colleges adopting them in the future. Think about it—they are offering specializations in areas like algo trading, which are usually only discussed in top old IITs.
