Rum Review #36 | Renegade Dunfermline Pot Still Pre-Cask (Unaged) 50% ABV

For today I am journeying back to Grenada, and trying out another rum from the Renegade distillery. This particular release is unaged, with sugar cane harvested at the Mango Lane terroir from the Dunfermline Farm (single farm origin). I have not had many unaged rums but in my opinion this one is excellent and well worth your time exploring as it gives an indication of things to come for any forthcoming aged expressions. With notes of sugar cane, figs, dates, olives, brine, earth and soil there is definitely some complexity there and draws the line between sweet and savoury very well.
