The Workshop Unlocking and Future-Proofing Air Quality Management in Asia, Multi-stakeholder consultation workshop for improved multilateral and international cooperation on air pollution was held from 27-28 May 2024 at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok, Thailand, co-organized by ESCAP, UNEP, and EANET. The Session Unlocking Finance for Clean Air in Cities included Remarks by Ms. Jihyun Lee, Senior Programme Officer, UNEP and a presentation by Mr. Shirish Sinha, Executive Director of Programmes, Clean Air Fund, followed by a panel discussion including interventions from Ms. Seo Hyun Lee, Director, International Development Cooperation Division, Ministry of Environment, Republic of Korea, Ms. Yumi Yasuda, Deputy Director for the International Cooperating Office Environmental Management Bureau, Ministry of the Environment, Japan, Ms. Selenge Badrakh, Advisor for the Deputy Governor in charge of Social Policy, Green Development, Air and Environmental Pollution, Ulaanbaatar City Government (not included in this video), Mr. In-Chang Hwang, Research Fellow, The Seoul Institute, Mr. Daniel Mira Salama, Lead Environmental Specialist, World Bank and Mr. Shailesh Vickram Singh, Director and Founder, Massive Earth Foundation.
