Wichita META Consistent ONESHOT. Full Bossfight Guide [Azur Lane]

In this video you will find everything that a player needs to know in order to easily and consistently sink the Azur Lane's Operation Siren new META boss, Wichita META. The guide will teach you everything regarding this encouter: when to release your airstrikes and battleships' salvos, what equipment choice would be the most preferable to effectively penetrate the boss's type of armour, how to minimize the damage taken from each attack and how to avoid getting stuck in Wichita's chains for most of the fight. In other words, this guide is everything you need to consistently and easily oneshot Wichita META. Consistency rate: out of 10 battles 7 resulted in oneshot, 3 resulted in taking out 80-95% of Wichita META's health. Dependant only on the amount of times Helena's Radar Scan was activated. In order to successfully oneshot the boss, you'll need her skill to be activated at least once, but better twice or even thrice. The other factors do not play any role at all, so, if you can substitute Helena with a more consistent buffer that can provide the same damage increasement, the oneshot rate would reach 100%. Now let us talk about my team composition and the possible substitutions for each of the ships. To start things up, I do not find the full battleship fleet to be a reliable way of dealing with this boss due to the fact that Wichita META likes to move around the map a lot with relatively high speed, which makes catching her quite difficult even with Bismarck Zwei. It definitely mght be possible, but you'll just make your life harder by attempting to do so. However, if I were to use the battleship-only backline, I would probably go for the Alsace-Bismarck Zwei-Sovetsky Soyuz formation with New Jersey, Vanguard and Kearsarge herself as the possible substitutions. Now for my actual formation. Yorktown II is the best assault carrier designated for dealing with light type of armour, so she would always remain the best general choice in this bossfight. There are no direct substitutions for her, but you can try and replace her with Enterprise or even August von Parseval, though the latter's damage would be quite bad. Some other users suggested to utilize Shangri-La, but she, though being a viable option, is also quite random in terms of damage. As for Implacable, I used her just to ensure that every of Yorktown's projectiles will hit the target. Despite Wichita moving heally fast, there are a lot of windows in her attack patterns when she's frozen in place, so, if you memorize her attack pattern even better than I did, you can swap Implacable for Enterprise. This way your overall damage output will be significantly higher. If you still need someone to slow her down but don't have Implacable, use Ark Royal (won't do a lot of damage) or August von Parseval. As for Kearsarge, she's practically irraplaceable thanks to her being able to both deal a noticeable amount of damage on her own and buffing the damage of other carriers, thus substituting any destroyer with an Air Raid Assistance and allowing you to have a spare slot in the frontline. I used Sirius and not someone like Kazagumo or Yuugure because of Kearsarge, but that's not the only reason. The thing is, even when Sirius sinks, her buff towards the carrier still works, so you dont have to worry about keeping her alive the whole time at all! As for Helena, she barely needs any explanation. Laffey II, on the other hand, is a completely different story. Surely, given the fact that your frontline is frozen throughout most of the fight, her only purpose is to tank projectiles, but if you think you'll be fine without this additional tank, you can try and use another buffer instead of her! For example, Helena META, though not at good as her original version, should give the backline just enough of the damage boost. And lastly, the newly added Spearfish at +13 is a bit better than the Ryuusei, so definitely use it if you have a spare one. As for the HVAR-Mounted Hellcats, they are crucial to this bossfight, but you can in theory substitute them with the Messerschmitt BF-109Gs. Oh, and also Sirius probably would deal a bit more damage with the HE rainbow gun, but I was too lazy to craft one.
