Brian McKnight thrilled to perform in Manila anew | ABS-CBN News

MANILA -- American singer-songwriter Brian McKnight shared his excitement to return to Manila and perform for Filipinos anew. McKnight is one of the international artists who will be part of the "Hitman: David Foster and Friends" concert next month. "I am just looking so forward to coming back. It's always great in different configurations, be there with Kath (Katharine McPhee), with All 4 One. You will get a night that you will probably never see again. I am not sure if we will be able to come back all together this way. So this really, really special and I am really looking forward and I can't wait," McKnight said in a media conference via video app on Thursday for the upcoming concert. In the event, McKnight also agreed with Foster that the Philippines has many great singers as he briefly shared his experience performing in Manila. "There are very few places we go in the world where there are so many accomplished really good singers. And from the very time I came, probably 25 years ago and every time I've come back since I am floored. Because we always assumed that the best singers and the best music is in America. And the minute you step outside America you will see and meet so many other people that are musical. And they love what you are doing and you love what they are doing and you will come back and you will sing together and you make music. It's just great to be around greatness as often as you possibly can, definitely have greatness there in the Philippines," McKnight said. McKnight is known for his ballads such as “Back at One,” “One Last Cry,” and “6, 8, 12.” Filipino talents JV Decena and Joaquin Garcia are also joining the concert.
