Actually, I think it is one of the best things you could do..... as long as the book is yours, hahaha. If you own books, what is holding you back? If there is nothing on or in them, there is nothing that differentiates your book from the thousands in print around the world. But when you mark yours with a sassy thought you had, or underline your favorite line, or put your own artwork on the outside, it instantly becomes unique. And it is after all a bunch of paper. You might as well get your money's worth, books do not come cheap these days. Now that I have started I certainly don't want to stop.
