This Girl KNEW Zuko Was a Firebender on their date...

Ok, so this has been on my mind for a while but it’s pretty clear that Jin definitely knows Zuko is a firebender in the Tales of Ba Sing Sei. I mean come on, the hints are obvious! So remember to firebend that subscribe and like button, and let’s break down this little theory… So just in case you don’t remember this little episode, I know a lot of us skipped the tales of Ba Sing Sei when we were younger… Yeah that was a bad move… But Jin was the girl that Zuko went on a date with during his time in the Earth Kingdom. Much to the happiness of Uncle Iroh. But anyway, on this date, Zuko and Jin arrive a plaza, but all of the lights are off. Zuko weighs up whether or not he wants to risk blowing his cover by lighting them, but eventually decides that Jin is worth that risk. He tells her to close her eyes, and while they are shut, he illuminates the surrounding plaza… Now this is where the theory comes in. I think it’s pretty obvious to Jin What happened…. She asks “What happened” in a puzzled tone, before turning to Zuko and asking “what did you do”. Unless she grew up without any knowledge of the fire nation or fire benders, which is pretty impossible during a huge war with them, there aren’t many possible things that could have happened here. Not to mention, she immediately notices his huge scar, clearly the remnant of a firebender. At this point, she stops asking any questions, and simply enjoys the view. This tells us that she has almost certainly put the pieces together, this guy is a firebender, and is not saying anything out of respect.
