John Moore began booking shows at the Mercury Lounge in 2001, expanded to the Bowery Ballroom and Webster Hall, and in 2004 co-founded The Bowery Presents. Jim Glancy began his career at The Wolf Trap in Virginia, moved on to Radio City Music Hall and in 1998 joined SFX Entertainment which evolved into Live Nation Entertainment where he eventually served as President of New York before joining The Bowery Presents as a partner in 2006. Since its inception, The Bowery Presents has been a purveyor of true artist development and consistently strives to work with artists like LCD Soundsystem, My Morning Jacket, Mumford & Sons and Sam Smith grow from performing in intimate clubs to performing in sold-out arenas. The company’s principals reflect on its developments and continued growth, which includes breaking ground on a new Boston venue.
