Kevin O'Leary, MD, MS, Professor and Chief of Hospital Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Northwestern University presents a talk about the role of inter-professional teams in promoting better patient outcomes in systems of care. Dr. O'Leary's scholarly interests include patient safety, interdisciplinary teamwork, and hospital-based care, and healthcare quality. The title of his February 17, 2017 Grand Rounds talk is "Improving Patient Outcomes Through Inter-Professional Teamwork." University of Wisconsin Department of Medicine Grand Rounds are presented throughout the academic year and are intended for health care professionals and medical researchers.
