Use a double boiler to combine the coconut and olive oil. Allow the coconut oil to melt over low heat. Once melted, add in the dried lavender, calendula and rose buds. Stir to combine and let the herbs infuse for 30 minutes on low heat. 2. After 30 minutes, prepare a small bowl with a coffee filter or cheesecloth. Pour the mixture through the filter, straining out the herbs, with the infused oil in a jar or bowl below. 3. Clean out any of the remaining dried herbs and return the infused oil to the double boiler. Using low heat, add the beeswax, then shea butter, stirring until melted. Add the honey (f using) stirring for about a minute. Turn off the heat and add the essential oils (tea tree and lavender). 4. Pour the mixture into one large jar or two small jars. The mixture will begin to solidify within 5 to 10 minutes and fully set after 15 minutes. If you're using honey, stir every minute or two.
