First a big shout out to Tommy and 'Tommy L Garage' / YouTube and Instagram / for his excellent DIY video doing this exact job in his 991.2 Carrera T. Without his video I would have kept assumed incorrectly that it isn't possible to add a Sports Chrono clock into a Porsche that didn't ship with it from the factory. How wrong I was! I love love LOVE how these clocks look in the center of the dash of Porsches, particularly the later generation of Paragon brand clocks that were introduced with the 991.1 and other models around 2011 onwards such as the the Cayman/Boxsters. They really make the cabin 'pop', while maintaining a refined and elegant look. In this video I also show you have to change the color of the clock face. The black unit I picked up from eBay now has a factory quality 'racing yellow' color face and it looks truly epic.
