Shara Ishvalda Vs. Hunting Horn - Monster Hunter World: Iceborne - アン・イシュワルダ 笛 ソロ【MHWI】

Shara Ishvalda is a monster I'm a little conflicted about. On one hand, it's design is sublime. The Hinduism inspirations as well as its beautiful flower-like head and back, and alien-like underbelly, the concave trick of its eyes, its bizarre wing tips and power to create sonic vibrations, it's all really great. Something funny I tell myself sometimes is that Shara Ishvalda would have been the perfect monster in a Monster Hunter game that somehow introduced an "earth" element. I love everything about Shara's power to reshape the earth, build itself an armor of sand and rocks, and how the inside of its body is similar visually to volcanic rocks such as obsidian. I have an Amethyst rock that I brought back from my trip to the Sahara desert, and its look pretty much the same to Shara's insides when its crown is broken. On the other hand, Shara is a fight that leaves just a little bit to be desired, I think its first form is actually, REALLY interesting, even for how slow it is, but only the first few times you fight it. And its true form, while it has an interesting moveset, is brought down a little bit in my eyes by Shara's size and slow speed. I feel like Shara would have been such a better fight if it was just slightly smaller and faster, but of course that would have taken a little bit away from the impressive factor. There's also the fact that Ruiner Nergigante exists, and I can't express how I hate that this thing could just take on Shara, weakened or not. It's the little twists and stupid stuff of World and Iceborne's story that will always just leave a bitter taste in my mouth. Such an amazing monster, and we couldn't be the ones having the finisher on it. Lastly, aside from one event quest, I'm a little upset about how Shara was left and completely forgotten by the developpers. I would've really wanted a special event quest for Shara Ishvalda with a slightly reworked fight and some twists, and maybe even a new armor and weapon upgrade for elementless sets. This is a pretty good run, shame I didn't get a paralysis proc in it but I feel like I did really well overall. It's also one of the very, very few HH runs on Shara on YouTube now so I'm glad I at least fulfilled that niche. #monsterhunter #monsterhunterworld #iceborne
