Chloe Bellotti, 29, from Suffolk, suffers with spinal muscular atrophy – a genetic condition that causes muscle weakness – meaning she relies on an electric wheelchair for mobility and requires around the clock care. But optimistic Chloe can’t thank her assistant dog enough as Morris, five, the black Labrador, enough for giving her ‘normality and independence’ for the first time in almost three decades.
