BL Mazda 3 (2009 to 2013): How to remove the ABS pump and module.

This video is a work in progress that I may or may not get to finish. At the moment, this video is useful to show you where the ABS pump and module are located, how to find out the ABS pump model number, how to remove the ABS pump and module, and how to find the ABS module model number. This video does not show you how to do the reinstall. Basically, you physically install the unit, and then you need to do a complete bleed of the brake system. ABS pump model numbers that I am aware of: BFD1-437AZ-C BFD2-437AZ 8V61-2C405-AE 8V61-2C405-AF 8V61-2C405-AG 8V61-2C405-CA As far as I know, the last two characters are the revision number. The characters before that are the part number. ABS control module model numbers that I am aware of: A426G 09W091 A426G 10W016 Useful spanner sizes: The flare nuts on the ABS pump need a 10mm crow's foot spanner. The bleed nipples on the brake callipers need a 10mm crow's foot spanner. All mounting nuts on the ABS pump assembly are 10mm. If you are in Australia, I have seen the reconditioned ABS modules done by Injectronics.
