Manuals can be found at the manufacturers website.* In this video I show how to replace the pull cord or starter rope on a Toro Recycler walk behind lawn mower with a Kohler Courage XT engine. The rope I used for pull cord is Braided Nylon rope size #4. You can find the rope at most hardware stores. If you go with a larger size rope like a 4.5 or 5, than you might have problems routing the rope through the holes in the starter pulley and starter housing. A larger size cord will also effect the length of cord you use, because a larger diameter cord will take up more space in the pulley. Thank you for watching!
