In his mind, he would go to the WWE and become famous while making lots of money as a glorious and popular superstar of the World Wrestling Federation. His expectations were soon put in check when he made his WWF debut as The Ringmaster. The Ringmaster was brought into the WWF as Ted Dibiase's new client, and Steve was given the Million Dollar Championship upon his arrival. Steve stuck it out with The Ringmaster gimmick for under 2 months before he let the office know his true feelings on the gimmick. He didn't like it, and he needed a change. After the WWF suggested some hilarious ring names for Austin, eventually Steve became "Stone Cold Steve Austin". This video tells the story of Austin going from The Ringmaster to Stone Cold Steve Austin, covering the majority of Steve's 1996 debut year in the WWF.
