Living in South Lake Union is convenient & walkable. You get that downtown city feel with 40 story high-rises, but are just right across the street of Lake Union. SLU is filled with tech companies like the Amazon headquarters, Fred Hutch Research Center, Apple, Facebook, & Google just to name a few. Some of my favorite Seattle restaurants are in South Lake Union. Mbar, Cactus, and Tacos Chukis are all worth checking out if you are in the area. As for housing, SLU has many luxury apartment buildings to choose from with beautiful views of the city.
