Part 1 of a series from BadShoe Productions on installing a centrifugal supercharger in a 96-97 4.6L Thunderbird. This part is only an introduction to the process. I talk about my setup for the street/strip car, what I've done to this point and the mods I've done to get it ready for the charger. As of Dec. 2020, I'm still waiting on the supercharger tuner kit. Because there will be fabrication needed to fit this kit in a MN12 TBird, I decided to get a tuner kit meant for a 99 Mustang which does not include injectors, pump or a calibration tune. Those parts likely would not be compatible with the TBird and much of that has already been done. It will not be intercooled for now but might be upgraded later.
