DIY Pneumatic Halloween Prop, the Spider Leaper

Another DIY pneumatic Halloween prop, the Spider Leaper, to add to the collection. I wanted to expand on the spider portion of our haunt this year and decided to add a pneumatic jumping spider. I hope to add a spitter to him as well before Halloween. Many thanks to Ron at Halloween Overload - http://halloweenoverload.com/ for all his help. I gave some of the measurements in the video but are some additional ones I missed. The back upright is 30" and the front one is 32". I used 1x2 inch tubing for the base and the 2 uprights that the nose of the cylinder attach to and 1 inch square tubing for the center rail, both the pivoting uprights and for the extender that the spider attaches to. The pivoting uprights are 7 3/4 inches apart on center of the bolts on the bottom and 5 1/2 inches apart where they connect to the extension rod. The nose of the cylinder is 5 1/2 inches up from the base and the hole where the rod end of the cylinder attaches to the pivot rod is 10 1/2 inches from the end that attaches to the base. The cylinder is a double acting, universal mount, 1 1/2 bore with a 10 inch throw.
