Some pure exhaust SOUND footage of the 2015/2016 Skoda Octavia Combi RS 230 powered by the well-known 2.0 TSI delivering 230 hp and 350 Nm of torque through a 6-speed DSG. We have driven so many 2.0 TSI from VAG lately but they always sound and perform slightly different. What I can definitely tell you is that this 230 hp version sounds significantly stronger than the 220 hp petrol version I drove about 2 years ago, maybe you know more...if they have changed the exhaust system since then or if only this RS 230 gets a louder setup. Comparing it to a Golf 7 GTI and a Seat Leon Cupra 290 I would probably place this right in the middle ones it comes to an aggressive exhaust note. Additionally Skoda has found a good compromise in enhancing the in-cab sound with a sporty tone, still not annoying to much with an artificial noise.
