This is a description on how to remove the gp1800 lid removal..it's really just held on with two plastic tabs if you just use a small screwdriver and lightly prion the tabs from the inside it'll pop out..then you just line it back up and they'll snap back in just remember don't use too much force it comes out pretty easy once you pop it if your prime really hard when you probably don't have it in the right position to remove it.
