The five-judge constitution bench of the Supreme Court is hearing the pleas challenging the abrogation of Article 370. Senior Advocate Harish Salve on Thursday presented his submissions in support of the abrogation of Article 370, during the hearing in the SC. Salve told the SC that Article 370 was a “political compromise” that arrived at the time of accession and integration of Jammu and Kashmir into India. "It may be difficult to find logic in each of these because it was a political compromise. What was a Constituent Assembly put in place?
