This was hard. So is the learning curve. Doing a regular RL1 no upgrades fight was done in a couple hours, getting this one took 3 days. While Radagon is far less mechanically complex than other ER bosses like Maliketh, his moveset requires very high precision to deal with especially in phase 2 and 3 with the introduction of teleports and their damaging AoEs. The concept of arbitrarily taking away punishes from the player and responding with an instant damaging reposition isn't something I'm too fond of, neither do I enjoy when he's in p3 and zips around more intensely than a tryhard speedrunner while spamming spells and getting free poise resets... but despite these obnoxious mechanics Radagon is still an amazing and generally fair fight, and the OST certainly adds to the epicness of it all. A solo, melee only fight at Rune Level 1 (RL1) in NG+7 (max new game cycle) of Radagon of the Golden Order, done without upgrading weapons, without auxiliary/status effects (frost, bleed, poison/rot etc), no buffs outside of the Great rune to wield Alabaster sword, and with no hits taken. Phase 1 is very fun and good for multiple cr2 punishes since his attacks startups after recovery are slow enough to allow them, even his stomp somewhat. Phase 2 and 3 are where it gets annoying with the threat of cancelling a recovery with a retaliation teleport and especially the quick teleport memes. You are forced to fight much more passive during later phases, and his tendency to teleport around at all ranges to spam spells and get free poise resets, again, don't help ramping up the pace in any way. I had some faster attempts where I was more aggressive but choked on 15-10% health left to teleports or flying aoes timing modified by walls, so I played carefully the end of this fight to make sure it wouldn't happen this time around.
