I thought I would jump into DaVinci Resolve really quick to demo some low light footage color grades this wintry evening. Modern cameras are becoming more and more capable of shooting in less than ideal lighting situations. There are cameras on the market (like some of Sony's sensors) that you can basically use as night vision. It's not enough to rely on fancy cameras to get clean footage though, there are some basics to keep in mind.
