IEEE NTC Webinar Talk on "Current Challenges in the area of gas sensors" by Dr. Ravindra Kumar Jha

Prof. Ravindra earned his Ph.D. from the IIT Kharagpur in 2017 while working on transition metal dichalcogenide-based humidity and gas sensors. He joined Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE), IISc Bangalore for his postdoctoral work in 2018 where he explored advanced functional materials for sensing applications on Silicon and various flexible platforms. He joined CSIR-Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute, Pilani in 2020 as a scientist where he worked on industrial projects like on development of nondispersive infrared-based gas sensor. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Electronics and Electrical Engineering Department, and Associate Faculty in the Department of Design, IIT Guwahati. He has published more than 35 peer-reviewed articles which were published by renowned publication houses like IEEE, ACS, RSC, Springer, Nature, IOP etc. He is a life member of the Electron Microscope Society of India, IETE. He is also a senior member of IEEE and serving it in various capacities.
