Today, Minister Marc Miller held a media availability addressing new rules governing off-campus working hours for international students in Canada. #canadastudyvisa #studyincanada #canadaimmigrationnews2024 The Minister held a media scrum at 1 p.m. EDT (Toronto time) at the Foyer of the House of Commons of Canada. Minister Miller announces increasing off-campus working hours for international students while class is in session from 20 to 24 hours beginning in September 2024. The existing temporary full-time work policy will not be extended after April 30, 2024. The work hours limit will be reduced to 20 hours per week until September, when the government can make a permanent amendment to make it 24 hours.
