Footage: Arcane Song: Oleander by Mother Mother VPR: all Just when you think I have finished releasing all my vids that were under a specific deadline, here comes a third with a steel chair! Just as I did last year, I participated in womansplace's charity vid auction. This year I was asked to do a character profile of Jinx, which I was a bit intimidated by considering she is already a popular subject and there are a lot of angles to view her from. Talking a bit with my recipient they mentioned really enjoying both her relationship with Vi and Silco, how she is fiercely loyal but is also a chaotic element that throws everything out of order. So I tried to parallel the two relationships she has, how she keeps searching for unconditional love and security but has to start to question how even with how much she changes, some things (such as her eventual abandonment) always seem to stay the same. Is it a self-fulfilling prophecy or is it that no matter what name you give a rose, it will always have thorns?
