165’s restoration has FINALLY been completed at the WPRM! Just days before big boy #4014 came rolling into Portola, steam crews put the finishing touches on WP #165 - 165 has been under restoration for nearly 2 decades at this point and saw operation in mid - late 2022, these operations were hauled to complete the restoration and address leaks / problems with the engine - Today, July 10th 2024, is the first day WP 165 has pulled trains in her fully restored appearance, long live the WP! - Lemme know what you guys think of the footage, may or may not have forgotten my tripod so this is all just holding my camera without a strap or a tripod to help, comment below!
