Beaver's childhood friend Richard Rickover (Rich Correll) returns as a bit of an annoying psychiatrist boasting about his daughter being more advanced than Beaver's son Oliver In this eighth commercial-free episode of the Still the Beaver revival series called Paper Tiger that debuted on The Disney Channel Feb. 17, 1985. Oliver is struggling like his father did as a child to find something he is good at when he suddenly becomes the leader in the school's newspaper drive fundraiser, only to be challenged yet again by a fellow student. (Listen for one of Richard's adult friends to call him by his real name Rich instead of Richard.) This is the eighth of 26 episodes in 1984-85 before the series moved to WTBS Superstation for three more seasons under the name The New Leave it to Beaver from 1986-89. These videos are taken from Betamax VCR personal recordings of the show when it originally aired, and transferred here onto a camcorder set up in front of a TV, so the quality is not the highest quality but since there are no other copies of these episodes on YouTube, I am at least sharing what I have the best way I can.
