Legendary musicians, Yothu Yindi inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame. The honour comes two decades after the release of the track Treaty that catapulted them to international stardom. "As musicians, recognition from our peers is important to us," Yothu Yindi frontman Mandawuy Yunupingu said. "As Aboriginal Australians, recognition from our Constitution is even more important." The band used the ARIAs to wear the new logo for the movement to recognise the First Australians. HEALING STONE: THE BEST OF YOTHU YINDI is a brand new compilation album released to honour their induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame. The album will also include a DVD containing many of the band's music videos, plus their celebrated documentary, 'Tribal Voice'. 'Healing Stone' is also the title track of the album and is the first new song recorded and released by Yothu Yindi in 12 years.
