No catcher ever made more All-Star teams Berra was an All-Star in 15 different seasons (and made 18 All-Star appearances, because the league held two All-Star Games from 1959-1962). Berra is one of only 14 players in history with as many All-Star seasons, and the only catcher among them. No catcher ever won more MVP Awards Berra took home the AL MVP award in 1951, 1954 and 1955.
