NC500 Part 13 - Fort William to Oban

Fort William and Oban are the next destinations on our Scottish road trip. Oban really stood out as an amazing place to visit with the magnificent McCaig's Tower, its dramatic coastline, best ever seafood, boats to the Isles and the panoramic view of the mountains. Our trip starts out at Fort William where we take a bike ride to the base of Ben Nevis at the cycle park and then circle round back down the Caledonian Canal. We stay at the Ben Nevis Holiday Park. And then onward to Oban with a beautiful drive along the Coast and Lochs. We stay at the Oban Caravan and Camping Park which is walkable into Oban (1 hour) The campsite has a very interesting WWII lookout station to explore. We really enjoyed exploring Oban especially for the McCaigs Tower and then finished the day with a truly amazing fish platter on the seafront.
