That is because the valley floor is actually quite flat, so it makes riding a bike relatively easy for most riders. You can bring your own bikes, or rent a bike from several locations, such as Curry Village. You can rent a bike either hourly or daily, but I found that it was much cheaper to bring our own bikes.
