It is the first board of the DT series. This 9'8"x 22 1/2" x 3 1/16" DT-1 board is fast! Pulled-in nose and tail dimensions for better control and speed in racetrack sections. This rounded pintail works on a variety of different waves but thrives on shoulder high and up waves that have steep faces. I purchased from Mitch's Surf Shop, La Jolla, circa 1992 for ~$780 dollars. I recently added 4 1/4 halo side bite fins to the 2-1 set-up and they provide more forward thrust. I have been riding this board for all these years on some of the most rewarding waves possible--you know, the ones that tell you you've been a good boy.
