Northwest Passages 2016 Part I

In August 2016 the Stewart/Borosdy Adventure Team embarked on trip to explore the San Juan and Gulf Islands of the Pacific Northwest. Aboard Far C’r, our 22’ C-Dory, and Vega, Bernie and Marilyn’s 25’ C-Dory we spent a fantastic month enjoying the finest of weather. During this adventure I was able to use my cameras to time lapse the whole cruise. I hope the viewer enjoys the ride. In Part 1 we leave Los Angeles towing Far C’r and travel through the state of California, Oregon, and Washington to arrive in Anacortes where we pick up Vega. Launching at Skyline Marina we spend the first night at Blind Bay on the North side of Shaw Island. The next morning the weather report is calling for strong winds and possible rain so we decide to head to Friday Harbor and wait on the weather for 2 nights. Since we plan to head for the Canadian Gulf Islands in a few days we then head of to Roche Harbor on our way to Stuart Island.
