This is a re-upload of the greatest test innings of all time (in my opinion anyway!) by Nathan Astle playing for NZ against England in 2002. Nathan Astle came in at #5 when NZ were 119/3 chasing a mammoth 550 to win. With Chris Cairns injured and not even sure he would bat, Astle let rip scoring the fastest double hundred of all time in test cricket, scoring at a rate that would be impressive even in a T20! Astle's 200 came up in 217 minutes, from only 153 balls, featuring 27 fours and 9 sixes. Astle was the last man dismissed for NZ, ending up on 222 off 168 balls, with 28 fours and 11 sixes. His partnership with Cairns for the 10th wicket was 118 runs in 55 minutes, off just 69 balls. NZ lost the game by 98 runs, scoring an incredible 451 off just 93.3 overs.
