(Watch in HD) On Thursday, June 4th, 2020, the San Jose Fire Department has received several calls reporting a brush fire at the Santa Teresa Foothills. I believe the call was initially a Smoke Investigation for Engine 12 but they reported heavy smoke seen from the station so it was upgraded to a TIER 1 and due to fast moving winds, it was upgraded to a TIER 2 immediately and eventually it was at a TIER 5, with Mutual Aid from Santa Clara County Fire, Spring Valley Fire, CalFire, Sunnyvale Fire, Santa Clara Fire, Palo Alto Fire, South Santa Clara County Fire, and Gilroy Fire.
