Leaving our Mooring at Rugeley on the Trent and Mersey Canal and heading towards Great Haywood and onto the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal. This week we take a trip back by car to Fradley Junction to meet a lovely watcher, Jean. Paul tells the story of a death on the canal as we approach Brindley Bank Aqueduct where Christina Collins was found murdered. Spring has sprung and new life - lambs, ducklings and baby ladybirds are seen beside the canals. The haunted Bishton Hall becomes our mooring place for a few nights and I take a trip back to London, to meet friends, on he same train line that the Colwich Junction train crash occurred on some years ago. We leave you this week at a beautiful mooring spot at Tixall wide on the Staffs and Worcester Canal.
