Recognizing a trend day as soon as you can will help your trading results because you will be on the right side of the market more often than not. One of the ways I determine a trend day is by looking for 3 failed orderflows delta divergences in a short while. When I see that I know the market is flow driven and more often than not is experiencing a trend. Another tool I use is anchored VWAP. I check if the anchored VWAP is holding on the trend. Also Anchored Volume Profile, is the POC moving higher and is the profile shape turning from a normal distribution to a double distribution day. Point of control also needs to be monitored to make sure that it is also moving higher on the day.
