This test is also called the Straight Leg Raising Test and the Laségue’s Sign or the Laségue’s Test. With the patient in the supine position, slowly raise the symptomatic limb while maintaining knee extension and ask the patient to indicate if lower limb symptoms are reproduced or exacerbated.
