Review - Fenix E12 V2.0

The Fenix E12 V.0 is one of the smallest AA flashlights with a tail clicky switch. It has 3 levels (Low - Medium - High, always starting on Low) putting out the max of 160 lumens. It only takes alkaline 1.5V or Ni-MH 1.2V batteries, not Li-Ion 3.7V batteries. The tint is tending to the Cool White. The beam doesn't have many artifacts, although in some positions some yellowish stain is visible. The beam is wide, and there is not much projection making it good for small range activities. It doesn't reach much more than 45-50 meters in terms of visibility, but within that, in dark environment it performs relatively well. For my appreciation, this is the perfect flashlight for someone who needs a flashlight but is not an expert, and needs something reliable and without surprises. Its compactness is also a plus.
