A Pacific Crest Trail Story On the 14th of May 2021 I journeyed north from the US/Mexico border through California, Oregon and Washington to the US/Canada border. Most of this journey was traveled by foot (2,181 miles) and some by road due to forest fires (471 miles). I was known on the trail as Mad Max; I had the pleasure of meeting some amazing people as well as witnessing some of the most beautiful landscapes this country has to offer. It was an adventure I will remember for the rest of my life.
