The legend Classical singer Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan Son of the great classical singer Ustad Salamat Ali Khan from sham chorasi gharana is Singing the best ghazal of the legend poet " Mir Taqi Mir" , "Yeah Dhohan Sa Kahan Se Uththa Hai" in the live concert held at chakwal city, punjab pakistan on 08th March 2020 (13th Rajab ) Chakwal is a city where people love classical and carnatic music especially Sham chorasi gharana classical vocals like Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan and his sons Faizan Ali and Nadir Ali. Ustad Shafqat Ali khan belongs to Sham Chorasi Gharana and is best known for classical raag singing- Durpit, thumari, Qafi and Khayaal. Shafqat Ali Khan like his Father late Ustad Salamat Ali khan is awarded by Pakistani government the highly ranked official awards like President's award. This recording was made on the celebration of Holy Birthday of HAZARAT ALI (A.S) on 13 Rajab, 08th march 2020 in Chakwal city, Punjab Pakistan. The event was organised by Ch. Mohsin Hassan Khan & Syed Asad Ali Shah and made publishing on DAAC. DAAC was established in 2017 and makes lot of events to promote its culture and art.
