Dr.Ozge Caman has graduated from Istanbul University, Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine. She earned her MSc and PhD Degrees in Public Health at Hacettepe University, Institute of Health Sciences. She currently works as a faculty member at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Public Health and continues her studies in the health promotion area by distance learning at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She also has been working as a consultant for UNICEF, UNFPA, UNAIDS, UNHCR and WHO in different national and international projects since 2000.Dr.Caman`s main interest areas are social medicine, health promotion and health education, primary health care research, mental health, marginalized groups and their access to health care. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
