Probably my second favourite fight in the DLC so far, only losing out to Bayle which is up there as a favourite in the entire series. In terms of difficulty I'd say Messmer is easier than Rellana and Bayle to no damage, but I really enjoyed the fight overall. The only odd thing was that the second phase felt significantly easier than the first, despite being more of a spectacle. Build: 2x Blood Great Stars +25, max strength and dex, 43 arcane. Scadu +13. Ritual Sword, Claw, Green Turtle and Rotten Winged Sword Insignia talismans. Raptor's Black Feathers cloak. Cragblade and Royal Knight's Resolve ashes of war.
