The guy genuinely seems to be a decent dude. Add Sammy Hagar, who is already linked with a decent tequlia ( Cabo Wabo ), and you're not likely to end up with complete junk. That said, this reposado tequila doesn't knock it out of the park for us. The best thing it has going for it is that there's a clean finish without that sugary additive laden consistency. It's thinner than we would like however, and doesn't taste like it has much age to it. Now, we could be tainted by all the junk on the tequila market, but that is indeed the market these days and taste is king in our books. A cool bottle set, a decent tequila, and our love for Guy Fieri and his unabashed fervor for life makes this a bottle that we certainly don't mind having on our shelf, even if we won't necessarily seek it out.
