How to disassemble and reassemble lock tumbler Assembly/Installation 1) Insert one tumbler spring into each hole, and install appropriate gate into tumbler. Do this for all 7 gates 2) Install key to verify all gets are flush with the lock cylinder exterior surface 3) Assemble key minder (orange) switch into case. switch is very delicate, handle with care 4) Apply grease: Generous amount into case body, and around locking detent 5) Install key minder (black) plastic actuator into tumbler cylinder 6) with key in the lock cylinder, insert lock cylinder into lock housing 7) Use a small flat head screwdriver to lift the locking Dtent spring 8) Insert spring 9) Insert ball bearing 10) Insert locking Dtent 11) Rotate key clockwise to engage the ball bearing into the slot 12) Remove key and verify correct lock operation 13) Install completed lock assembly into the steering column
