Tra queste, c'è la Civetta. Nonostante abbia ricoperto per secoli il ruolo di "uccello del malaugurio", la Civetta è invece un indicatore biologico importantissimo per l'ecosistema di cui fa parte. La sua presenza è simbolo di un ambiente sano, non ancora compromesso da insetticidi, disinfestanti e altri prodotti artificiali dannosi per la microfauna della quale si nutre, e quindi per lei, come piccoli mammiferi e grossi insetti.
