Lightning Returns Final Fantasy XIII Walkthrough Part 38 The last battle in this trilogy is God: Bhunivelze. You will need to have perfected staggering to defeat him. I did this pretty easily because this is New Game+ and have upgraded my swords and shields to the max. The 4th form of Bhunivelze is the hardest, since you need to stagger him to defeat him. Aerora is the best magic to stagger (you would think Aeroga but it's too slow). Don't be afraid to use Overlock to build up the stagger meter, but also don't forget to block Heartless Angel or else your HP will go down to 1.
